Website Design

1). This would be the home page. The primary goal of this page would be to provide the audience with links to different elements of the website such as information about the organisation and their contact details etc. From this page, the audience would be able to scroll through the community centre's Facebook page, book a table in the restaurant, look at a slideshow of pictures of the exterior of the community centre and go off to different pages on the website.

2). The user flow of this page would be that the user would click on the 'Facilities' button from the home page, and it would take them to straight to a page giving details about different facilities offered by the community centre such as the bar, the restaurant and a function room.

3). The user flow of this page would be that the user would click on the 'Events' button and it would take them straight to a page detailing the clubs on offer at the community centre. From this, they are able to read about details on the clubs that take place at the community centre.

4). The user flow of this page would be that the user would click on the 'About Us' button and it would take them straight to a page giving information about the organisation and what they have to offer to the audience. Also, there is a slide show with pictures of the community centre's exterior.

5). The user flow of this page would be that the user would click on the "Contact us" button and it would provide contact info such as an email address, an address, a phone number and also, there is a box to submit enquiries with your name, number, email and a message.

6). The user flow of the page would be that the user would click on the "Book Now!" button and it would provide a form where the user provides a date, a time and their name.

Target User

The audience demographic for my website would be white British men and women aged 25-70, who live in the local area and are earning £30,000 and above, as shown by the research. A large percentage of this audience may be retired because the majority of the area's population is older people. This information would be important to my website because it is most likely that my website will viewed by visitors and residents to the local area.

How is my site designed for this target audience?

My website is designed for this target audience because the majority of people living in this area are aged 25-70 so I have made the website easy to operate and I have made the buttons and text easy to read. However, for the younger audience, I have included more modern elements of design including online booking for the restaurant, Facebook links, contact forms and slideshows. I have big bold buttons to attract a mixed audience including "Book Now!".
